Warframe tackles Railjack adjustments, Archwing changes, and PvE Conclave mods

Warframe’s internet spaceships are getting a major overhaul, along with a whole lot more. In a completely massive post on the forums, Digital Extremes touched on a variety of adjustments that are being made to Railjacks, Archwings, several healing and defense abilities, and Conclave Mods that are now being tuned for PvE. And this is only part one.

Obviously, a post this size is too big to touch on the finer details, but the Cliff’s Notes version is that it breaks down general changes, ship combat changes, and on-foot changes in patch notes form. There are also some notes on Railjack pacing posted as well.

The post also goes over a number of Archwing adjustments that are coming soon, from fixes to systemic and avionics changes, along with a look at some new Avionics that will be arriving. Healing AoE and damage reduction abilities are also undergoing a variety of changes, with individual abilities getting a table of what’s different.

Finally, a number of Conclave mods will be converted from PvP to PvE. These mods will still be earnable in Conclave, but will also become available in Nightwave Series 3: Glassmaker as part of the Cred Offerings.

There really is too much to cover here, so make sure to read through the full post, or better yet check out MJ’s rundown of the devstream that first talked about these changes.

It’s a thing that happened, I guess. Hopefully it makes the Railjack ships a little better for people that still want to spend time with them. I’m still playing Warframe, but personally I’m no longer willing to spend the time or effort dealing with the Railjacks at all. It wasn’t fun before, and all this does is push numbers around – the balance isn’t the reason I don’t enjoy it.

Gave up on Railjack too. Waiting on the Solo version but I doubt that they will ever be able to get that to work.

Update landed on Friday, so I jumped in over the weekend – a few months ago trying to solo even the lowest level Earth mission was a gruelling slog, now it actually feels fun (at least for me) and I managed to solo every Earth mission (getting enough mats to upgrade my pilot weapons and engines to the basic Mk3 versions as I went) and barely scrape through the first Saturn mission. Found the higher level missions a very tough challenge, but still enjoyable!

It helps that the end-of-mission rewards are now generous enough that I don’t feel I have to roam around harvesting space rocks once the mission objectives have been completed.

Will definitely be much, much better for solo play when they finally release the Command Intrinsic so we can recruit an NPC crew.
