Today is the day that Apple users can get their mobile RuneScape on starting at 12:00 p.m. EDT, as we’ve reported previously. The iOS beta is not limited to subscribers, but the first wave will have only 1,000 players initially, with subsequent waves that will be announced 24 hours in advance on the game’s website and Twitter account. There are specific details on this web page as well as some patch notes that outline what’s in the mobile version.

Speaking of patch notes, those same notes also outline some adjustments to RuneScape overall such as increased value of certain upgraded items and a teleport to Turael’s previous location in Taverley in the Spell Book among other updates.

In other RuneScape news, Jagex has released the third part of its Archaeology engagement survey, announced the winner of a Razer giveaway, and brought back a number of spooky-themed Yak Track items to the Oddment Store including pets and outfits. All of that and more is outlined in the game’s usual weekly update post.
