Everyone disliked that.

Are you one of the many, many people who doesn’t really care much about proving your mettle in competitive matches of Warcraft III: Reforged and would just like custom campaigns to be working like they were in the non-reforged version? Well good news! The latest piece of news acknowledges that that’s a thing that isn’t working. That’s it. Now enjoy a great deal of discussion about exactly how your matchmaking rank is determined, because that’s what this is all about.

You may recall that this is very similar to the last update about the game in April, which also was all about matchmaking improvements and did not address the missing features which also include clans, ranked ladders, and profiles. Here, those features are… acknowledged. Not addressed, but at least they got an offhanded one-line mention. But matchmaking, that’s here and out in force.

Four months in, the game continues to be significantly less mastered than previously believed.
