TERA dons Little Red Riding Hood costumes for PC anniversary as Gameforge takes on Russian publishing

Who’s afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? Certainly not many of the classes in TERA, especially those that wield weapons as large as their bodies. So dressing up like Little Red Riding Hood for the PC version’s anniversary likely won’t invite any danger from ravenous lupines.

In order to get these storybook looks, players will need to face some danger, namely by completing Vanguard Requests from certain dungeons. Clearing these encounters rewards Little Red Tokens, which can be used to purchase Red Riding Dress set accessories. There’s also some similarly themed lootboxes available in the in-game store if one is so inclined. The event is set to wrap up on Tuesday, June 2nd, at 1:00 p.m. EDT.

In other TERA news, Gameforge has announced that it will be taking over operation of the Russian version of the game on June 4th. Players in the CIS territories will be able to transfer their characters and progress to a new server starting on June 2nd. Further details are available in this FAQ.

Gameforge really is expanding their TERA fold, they took over publishing and hosting the South East Asia version of the game recently as well.
It must be doing pretty well for them then.

Goodness, those are modest for TERA. Are they finally turning a new leaf? o.O

I’m unsure I’m willing to give them a modesty pass with child-like characters dressed as an actual child from a nursery rhyme.

…”I’ve seen a lot worse” modesty pass in the qualification, that is.

Let’s get a vanilla server from the times before it turned into a pedo weeb furry fest.

I must be mistaking TERA for something else. I thought Elin and Popori had been in the game since they first showed the initial teaser trailers?

It does seem though like they’ve stopped even pretending about Elin costumes though. I’m pretty sure I remember a ton of outrage that they “censored” the original outfits (made them slightly more modest and cute.) But last time I logged in, I noticed that the store sold the same Succubus lace-and-thong lingere costume for nearly every type of female character. (I could be mistaken, I think the scaled dragon-half ones were excluded. Which is consistent at least, they usually get the male versions of a lot of outfits.)
