Overall, things have been a mess ever since the big “Performance Upgrade” of a few months back.

The release of this Chapter has not helped as the servers are now seriously overtaxed. Rubber banding, lag, desyncs, long load times, and so forth.

I am sure it will all get sorted out, over time. But will more people be like me and cancel their subscriptions? Really, I find that the benefits to the subscription are simply not great enough to justify the expense.

Might as well just play and pay nothing. Works for me! :)

Greymoor is a mess of a patch. as of right now many of us who purchased the dlc got our access revoked in a so called Fix that happened on the north america servers… and those connecting to the EU servers have free access to the dlc without purchasing it which is what the fix was supposed to be for that launched on the NA servers..

Overall myself and many others have paid for an expansion and have no access, when people who have not paid are playing for free currently…

as of right now the servers are scheduled to go down at 4am-6am est to fix this

but at this point people who didnt play have not only played most the of the main campaign for free, but some have now gone to reddit and the main forums posting spoilers of said content when half of us who paid for the dlc dont have access ..

i have been a long time supporter of bethesda , i have even supported them thru most of the fallout 76 mess (ive been playing for about a year prior to the wastelanders release but not at launch)

still this rubs me the wrong way, and the fact that they never offer any sort of compensation is worse…. i can tell you right now, both wow and ffxiv will offer compensation for just about anything if they have wronged you in any substantial way… heck i was even gifted a free faction+ server change in wow once due to an issue i had with there game…

the fact that eso is offering nothing to those of us who now fell behind in a mmo due to a so called fix that was badly written irks me… i understand that you shouldnt get compensation for the downtime, thats to be expected with a mmo launch , but when people are playing the product for free yet due to a fix you cannot play when you payed for it is beyond bad ..

The whole thing has been a bloody farce. Problem is, with the state of the servers these last few years it’s one that we all predicted would happen.

Still, now that the precious American servers are experiencing a small amount of the crap the European servers have had to put up with maybe Zenimax will pull their finger out of their arse and do something about it.

And no, I don’t care about ‘falling behind’ (ESO isn’t that kind of game anyway).

Never play on patch day. It only leads to stress.

That’s the thing though. ESO content launches usually go over pretty well.
Edit: I should probably add that I too hate how they can’t get their servers to perform well, today and in general
