The latest content update for Sea of Thieves has brought a bunch of treasures. Lost Treasures, to be exact. Except they’re found and being distributed to players of the piratical sandbox. Hair splitting over an update name aside, there’s a number of new things added to the game.

For those players who want to take on the game’s narrative Tall Tales PvE quests, they’ll find tooltips on the map to show them which island to begin, as well as a new checkpoint system to let players take these adventures on at their own pace. As for players who prefer to write their own adventures, there are new daily bounties with tasks like taking on named targets, handing in specific types of treasure, navigating to a specific location, or taking out enemies with a certain move among other things.

In addition, players can look forward to weekly and one-time events. During this update, every Friday is Fort Night, which increases the returns on all Stronghold treasure taken from Skeleton Forts. There’s also a Reaper’s Rewards event that brings increased payment for Reaper’s Chests and Reaper’s Bounties and some new emotes to earn, as well as the return of the Hunter’s Haul fishing event.

Players can keep tabs on what’s going on in the Sea of Thieves at the Event Hub. There’s also a landing page for the update, some patch notes, and, of course, a video.
