Valorant unveils a new character ahead of its launch on June 2

While Riot Games’ online team shooter Valorant still isn’t quite out the door just yet, it apparently still has a few new things to add on top of a season pass and a new mode, like an additional character.

Say hello to Reyna, a combatant from Mexico that appears to have some life-stealing and stealthy tricks up her sleeve on top of judicious use of an automatic rifle. The sneak peek of her gameplay also appeared to feature a new map, though details on both Reyna’s abilities and this new location are thin.

Meanwhile, Riot is counting down to Valorant’s worldwide launch and its first episode/season, which it’s calling Ignition. The shooter arrives to North America on Tuesday, June 2nd, so we can all see just how things play out in less than 24 hours’ time.
