The reforestation charity drive that Gamigo kicked off in April has finally ended with a resounding success. According to a press release, the drive saw a total of 94,000 trees planted by players, followed by a donation from Gamigo itself for a grand total of 111,111 trees.

As readers will recall, the charity event was built to benefit Eden Reforestation Projects by selling unique game bundles for a variety of Gamigo’s MMOs including Trove, ArcheAge, and RIFT.

Readers will also recall we were tracking the epic tree-planting battle between contributors Satan and Angel; Satan had initially taken the top spot but was overtaken shortly after by Angel. In the end, Angel won out, but both were overtaken by “normal humans” Asek and Veder, who donated enough for 1,122 and 1,250 trees respectively.
