TERA players on all platforms have a little something to look forward to this week. As of yesterday, PC players have a new client to install that seeks to address several technical matters as well as some new content, while console players can get emotive with a new quick chat feature and purchase bundles for a good cause.[AL:TERA]

On PC there’s the much-ballyhooed 64-bit client’s release, changing a number of things about the game like smoother gameplay, less crashes in crowded areas, and updated minimum system requirements. The update also adds the new 20-player Commander’s Residence raid, brings back revamped versions of the Rift’s Edge and Rampaging RK-9 Kennel dungeons, and kicks off a Mount Collector’s Card Event, the details of which were posted on the official forums.

As for console players, there’s a bit of philanthropy available with the sale of some new Caregiver’s Bundles, which offer up a variety of unique facemask cosmetics and a new Masks Up Quick Signal. Proceeds from these bundle sales will go to Heart to Heart International, which delivers medical supplies to doctors and caregivers around the world.

Quick Signals, by the way, are a new form of quick communication for console players, with a variety of emoji-style symbols that can be used for some swift communication. There’s also a new five-player Grotto of Lost Souls dungeon available for console players to plumb as well.
