While it’s been relatively quiet over in the Black Desert console versions, PC and mobile are hopping today. On the PC side, you’re either going to be super enthused about the patch – or over on Reddit griping about it. Why? It’s a class balancing patch.

“This week we bring you a special patch which many of you have been looking forward to: We have made improvements for all our classes! We hope you like these new class balance changes, and as usual we will keep an eye on your feedback. Thank you to those who offered up ideas and suggestions! Also, a new mystery arises beneath the summer sun once more. Starting this Friday, join the global race to solve the Mysteries of Summer and help your region be the first to finish! We have also applied new changes to certain mobs at Sherekhan Necropolis and Loopy Tree Forest, and added a new summer event! So don’t miss the chance to increase your knowledge points by reading this week’s patch below! Enjoy and good luck!”

Pearl Abyss has also posted a lore piece to go along with the Mysteries of Summer event and a primer on the Hashashin character. PC pre-creation for the Hashashin is now expected next week, with the launch on September 2nd.

Finally, over in Black Desert Mobile, players are contending with the arrival of a new world boss – Enraged Muskan – as well as the implementation of abyssal relics.
