Being a kid is never easy, but it’s downright life-threatening in
DDO’s Ravenloft. From scattered journal entries to a death house, Massively OP’s MJ keeps running into kkids in danger. Tonight will be no different: MJ and the D&D night crew will embark on Fresh Baked Dreams, a mission involving the search for two missing youngsters, a pastry-smeared face, and a windmill. Tune in live at 8:00 p.m. for this last romp in Ravenloft before the free quest time ends.
The show is over now, but we’ve embedded it here just for you. Don’t forget to check out our

I really like the background music and sounds in the Ravenloft setting in the game.
To answer your question at the end of the stream, “Mists of Ravenloft” is the only DDO expansion where I’ve played everything (except the Raids), I’ve only played little bits of “Shadowfell Conspiracy” and “Menace of the Underdark” and none of “Masterminds of Sharn”, so can’t really compare them properly. But of the bits I have played, the Ravenloft stuff is hands down the best.
Admittedly my opinion is partly because I never liked the Forgotten Realms much as a campaign setting, even though the old TSR “Gold Box” games were my introduction to CRPGs and I played a ton of WotC’s official organised play “Living Forgotten Realms” D&D4e tabletop modules between 2008 and 2014.
Fresh Baked Dreams is very scary, especially once you find out about the pies’ secret ingredient!
What creeped me out most is the way those queueing up for the pies knew but didn’t care! I can just imagine them standing there as someone is dragged screaming and struggling past them into the windmill… ~shudder~
