We’re updating this post at the bottom – scroll on down for the latest!

Forced to go digital thanks to the global pandemic, Gamescom 2020 is finally upon us, this time broadcast to the whole world instead of being the funtimes trawling grounds of just those who can make it to Cologne.

The pre-show for the opening night ceremonies are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. EDT today, just as this post goes live – remember, it’s technically still run from Germany, so it’s already evening across the pond! The big event kicks off at 2 p.m. EDT, with Geoff Keighley hosting. We’re expecting a whole slew of announcements and trailers, mostly notably for our audience WoW Shadowlands, Star Wars Squadrons, and Dual Universe.

We’ll be updating with the big MMO-relevant stuff as we go!

We’ve posted full details over in a separate WoW-centric post!

New trailer with narration up, this one on the single-player narrative arc, though.

It’s not an MMO, but The Sims 4 is getting a Star Wars-themed gamepack too. The rumors were true!
