It doesn’t look like it’ll be long now before Lost Ark makes its way to Western shores. How do we figure? Because the Korean-built MMORPG has announced its Japanese launch date in a livestream, arriving to players in the country on Wednesday, September 23rd. As of right now, Japanese players can pre-download the game while a trailer hyping the game’s launch was also released which features Japanese idol Moga Mogami — we’ve embedded that trailer below.

Lost Ark’s spread across the globe has been noted by us over the course of several months, from its beta tests in Russia and Japan to its Season 2 updates in Korea. As of right now, there are some strong indicators that Amazon will handle publishing duties for the MMO here in the West, but that’s not been confirmed as of yet. Overall, though, it likely is just a matter of time before hungry North American players learn more.
