Players of Blade & Soul will soon be able to control phenomenal cosmic power in an itty bitty package when the Cosmic Horizon update lands on Wednesday, September 23rd. How, you ask? Because the game will be introducing the Astromancer, a new class that’s available only to the Lyn race. The game’s 13th playable class dishes out damage through one of two forms: Way of the Starcaster, which features high burst damage, or Way of the Stormweaver, which deals more sustained damage.

The Cosmic Horizon update will also introduce a “renewed” version of the Naryu Sanctum dungeon for level 60 players with an HM level of 20 or higher, which promises to offer a sterner challenge for players as well as rewards like Nocturnal Scale Fragments, an offering bracelet for a new legendary PvE bracelet, and the Dark Devotion costume.

Finally, the update will bring a new tier of talisman known as Overture, which can be upgraded to boost HP and stats and activated to boost Boss Attack Power, Attack Power, Mystic, Critical Damage, Health Regen, and Defense for a limited duration. There will also be some events including the return of the Call to Arms event and an event that will allow Astromancers to earn a new outfit. It all arrives next week, but a preview stream will broadcast this coming Thursday, September 17th, at 2:00 p.m. EDT.
