So what does it actually look like when you play Book of Travels? The answer is that we don’t know yet, but the latest video from the development team gives you a hint of how it will look with multiple snippets of gameplay put together. Roaming around in a beautiful landscape, investigating, talking, and generally immersing yourself in the world are all on display in this minute-long video showing the current state of the game. This appears to be the footage promised when Might and Delight announced a delay to the game’s early access plans in September.

Of course, it’s worth noting that these are smaller fragments out of context and that they were captured on a single-player server of the game for test purposes. The point of the video is to just give an early tease of what the game will look like in motion, and you can watch the video yourself just below to see how well that goal is accomplished. Longer stretches of gameplay footage are coming, but for now, enjoy the aperitif.
