Elder Scrolls Online has just begun another freebie ESO Plus sub trial

Elder Scrolls Online is kicking off yet another free sub trial event starting today and running through October 19th. As usual, ESO players who take advantage of the trial basically pick up some temporary subscription benefits, even if they are normally B2P players, including the craft bag, double bank storage, experience and gold boost, extra housing space, costume dyeing, double transmute crystal storage, and of course, full access to some of the game’s past DLC and chapters. This round, the benies include Harrowstorm and Stonethorn, the DLC launched so far in 2020. Greymoor is the only thing not on the official list:

“Full access to DLC game packs—new zones, quests, dungeons, and more
Includes Orsinium, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Shadows of the Hist, Morrowind (zone and story), Horns of the Reach, Clockwork City, Dragon Bones, Summerset (zone and story), Wolfhunter, Murkmire, Wrathstone, Elsweyr (zone and story), Scalebreaker, Dragonhold, Harrowstorm, and Stonethorn (our most-recent DLC!)”

To give it a spin, you just need to log into the game and pick the “free trial” option out of the cash shop. You will not pick up the currency stipend that subbers normally get, do note, and you do need to own some version of the game to take advantage of the promo.

Nope. It’s a sale gimmick to sell subs. The subs feel far too mandatory, and are one of the reasons I’m not interested in the title anymore. In fact, they are a big reason why I am not interested (just not the only one, for example general world mobs and groups of mobs being so easy that I got sleepy fighting them is another major issue to me).

As usual do subs get Crown crates?
