Glade and bhoul.

It’s time for something even creepier to come to Blade & Soul than the Lyn or some of the game’s female outfits: It’s Blade & Ghoul, the MMO’s Halloween-centric update, which is making its way on Wednesday, October 21st.

Blade & Ghoul starts with players collecting a Ghoulish Halloween Treats bag from the Hongmoon Store for free, then opening it up for Pumpkin Taffy and a Halloween Haul. Additional Taffy and Hauls can be earned by completing daily and weekly challenges, as well as trips to the Tower of Memory. There are also bonus rewards for completing dynamic quests from specific raids or defeating Koldrak.

Not only will the update bring the Halloween season, but it will also bring back the Nayru Sanctum challenge dungeon, the ability to upgrade the Silversteel weapon from tier seven through nine, and new Tanzanite and Jasper Pet Gems that improve attack power, debuff damage, and in the case of the Tanzanite Gem, PvP attack power.

More details are due to come for the update and the event in the coming days, but for now players can get a brief primer of the incoming spooks.
