Path of Exile previews its next Heist patch with bug fixes and QOL improvements

The next noteworthy patch for Path of Exile should be deployed soon, and it’s all about the Heist league (as is usual for the game when it’s in the middle of a league, of course). It is a patch with a lot of bug fixes. Seriously, everything from bugs causing players to get stuck in Heist doors to bugs about items dropping in inaccessible locations within the Burial Chambers maps. A lot of fixes to the game.

A few quality-of-life changes are also coming in the patch as well, such as allowing players to gain Unique Contracts from Heist and Grand Heist reward room chests and improvements to minimap icons displaying patrols during a heist. While the patch notes are still subject to change before the full release, it’s a good idea to check out what’s on display to get a sense of the expected contents ahead of the patch release.

Just want info on PoE 2 at this point. The core game has become so convoluted that it’s overwhelming to play

Do I have good news for you.

POE2 is basically going to be exactly the same convoluted end game as the current version of POE. The main difference will be the POE2 story act progression where instead of leveling Acts 1-10 in POE you can choose to do POE2’s Acts 1-X instead. Once you’re done with all the Acts you will merge into the same Map focused end game that exists today full of overwhelming mechanics.

There will be other differences of course, such as the previously discussed gem socket changes, but almost all of those changes are going to also happen in POE1 as well meaning it’s going to get even more convoluted on top of everything that already exists.

Problem is, are the same developers who made/evolved the first game extremely convoluted, able to understand and correct the problems in the next… One would think if they did, they would have fixed the first game.
But yeah I also dream of a slower, simpler and more fun game with PoE2.. You know like PoE before the inflation.
