One Shots: Cooking with arsenic

In the apocalypse, cooking shows are a lot weirder — and deadlier. But just because your co-host accidentally drank that bubbling green liquid and immediately passed to the great beyond doesn’t mean that you have give up! A skeleton co-host is just as entertaining, in many cases.

“Happy Halloween Week from Fallout 76,” posted Lethia. “My character is sacrificing for the sake of my screenshots so I can share them with you and all rejoice. Even if this Halloween is very unlike the others, we can still be safe and celebrate with a good spooky game!”

Vanity — and superstardom — thy name is Josh! When you look this good in Final Fantasy XIV, can you blame him for striking up a pose in a Dutch angle?

“What’s the best way to unwind after raiding?” he posted. “Why, a small photoshoot of course!”

Bryan would like to introduce you to someone in World of Warcraft: “This is my new Death Knight Fexiseal (named after a medical device, don’t Google you’ll never unsee it) making his way through Northrend. Damn I really suck at screen shots, isn’t there a selfie mode?”

You totally just Googled that, didn’t you? Me too. Sigh.

“No Halloween pics here, but I did get this shot of this charming little grotto in Fangorn Forest in Lord of the Rings Online the other day,” said Katriana. “Such a calm, peaceful, and idyllic spot. Alas I could only pause briefly to get this shot as time was ticking and I had quests to complete.”

Minimalistway wishes everyone a good Halloweekend: “Going back to an MMO after long break is always confusing, where to start? What to do? I went back to Secret World Legends, and the game didn’t crash… much. It’s playable at last, but I still feel lost.”

That’s it for this week, but the fun continues in the comments! Share some of your best or most notable screenshots from your MMO gaming, along with a story or description.

Every week, One Shots shines a spotlight on the best community screenshots from your MMO adventures. If you have a great pic to share, email it to justin@massivelyop.com with the subject “One Shots.” Make sure that the picture is over 880px wide and comes with a description or story!
