Armor up, Phantasy Star Online 2 fans, because you’ve got orders to deploy to your latest mission. This week, SEGA dropped a new urgent quest that could take you up to an hour to complete — if you have the chops to beat it at all.
The quest in question is Queen’s Nightmare: Earth Depths, and it sounds like a nasty escort quest in a very tricky location.
“In order to combat this Dark Falz, ARKS will be deploying a Mobile High Output Photon Particle Cannon, and operatives will need to escort it to within range of Apprentice before engaging the menace,” the dev team explained. “If this object is destroyed, retreat immediately to your Gateway Ship – as the mission will be considered a failure.”
Next year promises to be a wild ride for Phantasy Star Online 2, with its New Genesis upgrade on the way as well as a Nintendo Switch launch.
