No more delays: Destiny 2’s Beyond Light expansion is finally upon us today. As promised, the update sends players to Europa, certainly the most interesting of Jupiter’s many moons to humans given its icy climate. Expect new quests, the Deep Stone Crypt raid, and the new elemental power known as Stasis. “Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters each wield Stasis in a different way, with amazing new subclasses to explore.”
Last night, Bungie ran a tie-in event that launched the Last City mission inside the Tower, as the Traveler healed itself and Io, Titan, Mercury, and Mars vanished.
Servers are back up at noon EST for those of you willing to drop the $39.99 buy-in fee. We’ve tucked the trailer and music down below, along with the cutscene that capped off the live event too.
