Black Desert kicks off Thanksgiving events and announces a digital Calpheon Ball

As you can tell from the header image, the Black Spirit — and by extension Black Desert — loves Thanksgiving. If you love Thanksgiving, too, then you can join in the feast with some festive events kicking off this week. Players can look forward to all kinds of things including planting seeds and fighting off moles, hunting turkeys (whether they’re normal turkeys, scared turkeys, or turkey royalty, apparently), or simply logging in for goodies. Those goodies include Advice of Valks, boosting items, and more, depending on what you’re doing.

On the subject of events, the pandemic has once more forced Pearl Abyss to make the Calpheon Ball all-digital this year. The so-called Calphe:ON Ball will be a cross-platform event, bringing together players on PC, console, and mobile to share their thoughts on the past year’s adventures and what they’d like to see in 2021 by way of a survey. In addition, those who submit their thoughts in video format and whose video is played during the event will get a Black Desert goodie box, which includes a highly desirous Black Spirit plushie. As for the event’s schedule, that will be posted soon.

As usual, there’s more happening in Black Desert this week, including the return of the Refer-A-Friend promotion, the returning opportunity to play the PC version for free for two weeks and earn a free copy for hitting level 50, and a number of other changes to the PC version like additional naval content and tweaks to core class skills. Finally, Black Desert Mobile has added the Musa and Maehwa classes among other things.
