While the next expansion for Hearthstone, Madness at the Darkmoon Faire, is still set to bring some new cards (naturally), some of its other previously announced features have landed ahead of the expack’s launch.

The game’s 19.0 update has introduced the early access/pre-season of duels, granting players a few days’ worth of time in the mode while also adding Whispers of the Old Gods to the pool of eligible sets and Madness at the Darkmoon Faire cards to loot buckets. The first season of duels will kick off when the expansion launches on November 17th.

In addition, the update has added a new Battlegrounds hero, the previously discussed progression revamp that introduces achievements, a Tavern Pass rewards track, a quest revamp, and an updated profile page, and a host of fixes and general updates. All of the specifics are waiting in the patch notes.
