WRUP: Things Kyle has done that are total power moves this week edition

Told Mrs. Greenfield he didn’t care about solving an equation: You could really tell that she didn’t know what to say to that and was actually kind of put on the spot. Kyle just totally blew her off, and she told him to go to the principal afterwards, but you could tell she didn’t know what to say in the moment.

Cried during lunch: It takes a big man to cry, and Kyle used this fact to show his sensitive side. Michelle said when she asked him why he was crying he said that it was about some thing with his parents, but Michelle’s dumb and no one should listen to her.

Threw a rock at a police car before running away: The rock didn’t hit, but he totally threw the rock and shouted that he just doesn’t care what happens before we all bolted. Kyle is so dreamy. Do you think maybe he’s into me?

Cried again when coming out of the school therapist: Everything Kyle does is an absolute power move. I haven’t seen Kyle’s dad in a while.

Answered What Are You Playing: Absolute king.

Bonus question: What’s your favorite seasonal treat, either from the holiday season or elsewhere?

Andrew Ross (@dengarsw): Pokemon Go is happening of course, maybe a little Animal Crossing. I’m really gonna try to organize my boxes in Pokemon Home and Pokemon Sword since I transferred so many over. I can’t express how excited I am! My perfect Gengar is actually a Pokemon Go transfer and I’ve shipped over a few new gems.

Favorite seasonal treat is super tough. I’m going to go with a tie between eggnog milkshakes and pumpkin milkshakes. The former I make myself since I feel like I just do them better, whereas pumpkin shakes are best with good pumpkin ice cream rather than the raw materials, and I’ve yet to find store-bought pumpkin ice cream I’m truly happy with (though Trader Joe’s is growing on me).

Ben Griggs (@braxwolf): I jumped into Red Dead Online last night for only the second time. I might do so again if for no other reason than to try and get a feel for how grindy it’s going to be. My gut feeling is very.

Bonus: Christmas cookies/fudge, hands down. It’s a good thing the holidays are no longer then they are!

Brianna Royce (@nbrianna, blog): So our closing got delayed, which means I now have extra time to pack and panic. And I’ll probably get in some gaming time after all this weekend – have some catch-up stuff to do in Star Wars Galaxies Legends, but I might just dip into City of Heroes instead.

I love fall the best, but I love winter food way better than fall food. Peppermint hot cocoa and my mom’s frosted sugar cookies top my list. My grandma used to make the best peanut butter fudge for Christmas too.

Chris Neal (@wolfyseyes, blog): Honestly, I’m at a loss as far as MMOs go. I am pretty sure I’m fried on Final Fantasy XIV for a variety of reasons, though I might still peer in to City of Heroes or Dauntless a bit. Mostly, it’s been all about Prodeus and Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Eggnog. Easily my favorite seasonal treat. It’s delicious. It also is nice to pour into coffee. Don’t @ me.

Eliot Lefebvre (@Eliot_Lefebvre, blog): Some FFXIV and maybe some Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. I’m honestly not really sure beyond that basic outline of a plan; not going to lie.

A lot of people have already said eggnog, but that’s always a big thing I look forward to around this time of year. A close second? Charcoal-grilled burgers for summer cookouts. Those conjure up such warm, tasty memories.

Sam Kash (@thesamkash): I’m in a bit of a burn out mode currently. I had planned on logging some time in Albion Online but I never got it into the schedule. Maybe I’ll try again this weekend.

Bonus: Eggnog all the way. I use it as a coffee creamer – it’s just the best!

Tyler Edwards (blog): I’m currently working my way through Control. It’s okay, but I’m not finding that it quite lives up to the hype. At least the telekinetics are fun. Might also get in some StarCraft II co-op.

Bonus question: Hot chocolate, I guess? Don’t know how “seasonal” that is, but I only drink it in cold weather.

Every Saturday, join the Massively OP community and staff for What Are You Playing, our roundup of what MMORPGs and other games we’re hoping to play this weekend (with a bonus question or two for our amusement). Tell us what you’re up to! Go off-topic! And don’t forget to have fun!

Turkish Delight.

Kind of like Vendetta Online, which I am playing! It’s now out on Chromebook, even though I missed the Corporate Sector Run yesterday while logging in from a Walmart parking lot (daylight savings strangeness).

  • Genshin Impact – 1.1 hit! I’m slow about exploring its content, but will probably be done its story content this weekend or soon after. Otherwise I’m nearly completed Mondstadt and just going to roam/new reputation weeklies for it now, and I’m pushing through Liyue. Lovely soundtrack that I’m going to share. My AR is now 40, with characters Lv 60-80, so I’m heading towards the decision point of whether to focus on this f2p team or try at least a few of my others with very advanced constellations.
  • Last Cloudia – Nearly caught up on main new story content, and there’s a new… ranking… event but it seems so far to be redesigned to be more reasonable for the casual player that doesn’t care about the ranking part. We’ll see. A new music track for a story boss, and that always makes me happy to hear.
  • Another Eden – Did that recently released ‘Mythos’ initial chapter, which didn’t have any battles but a little story minigame. Also returned to finish a bit of last year’s Persona 5 collab content because part two is coming next week with more free characters.
  • Distancing Hangouts – Nope! Had a friend over and watched Beetlejuice though.
  • Logins: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, Tales of Crestoria
  • Suspended: SWTOR (logged in for freebee), Remnant, Terraria

Partner is racing to Chapter 5 in FFX-2, and certainly won’t be completionist about anything. We’re done the Alan Wake DLCs and progressing American Nightmare. There’s talk about getting a new PC… if so, I wonder if he can break his one-and-done rule with games (and most media) and we can do Control a second time for him, to experience the AWE expansion together.

Persona time!

I may not have gotten him (yet), but I have all the other featured units aside him, so uh, I’ll take that I guess.

And he’s a boss, sorry for ‘spoiling’ I guess.

Crying in front of the Therapist’s office is THE Ultimate Power Move. Therapist hears you, they feel like they’ve reached someone and saved them, they’re only going to go on harder with everyone else. Folks working the office see you, and they’re touched by how empathetic and open you are now. And then you get one of them to tear up, and they might start crying a little too. And the other kids? Oh, they are being flexed on the hardest! You are convincing their parents and others that this will totally be the right thing for them, thus trapping them with some sandal-wearing tea-lover for the rest of the school year as everyone thinks it’ll work out.

And you? You get to walk out and laugh it off. You’re crying from laughter, not because dad is off fighting in the arctic as part of Seal Team–not to be confused with Navy Seals folks. Seals are dangerous, folks, gotta club ’em all, that’s what he says. And then mocks you for your love of the ‘San Fransisco Seals’–both because their mascot is the seal, obviously, and because its Soccer and only ‘Love-child yuppy sandal-kissers love a sport trying to fake itself off as football’. You’re crying from gut-busting too hard, not because momma tells you you’re her very best favorite boy in the world–then goes on to tell your brother he’s the very bestest favorite boy in the universe. The universe? Bestest?! That should be you! You can kick balls too! You kick soccer balls real good–so who cares that your brother kicked a field goal?! Who cares that when you tried once, the ‘football’ ended up hitting gram-gram and ruined her marriage with papap because she suddenly thought she was Tom Brady and had to get back to the field?

I-I’m not crying…! SHUT UP! You’re raining, I-I mean it’s raining and you’re crying and I’m wearing my dad’s cool Tom Cruise aviators so you can’t see me crying! Which I’m not! Nuh-UH!

And while I’m totally and definitely not crying for real and just flexing to get extra chocolate milk in the cafeteria?

Yakuza: Like a Dragon. That is all. Other stuff to keep up on a few things, but mostly? Like a Dragon. I’ve got Baka Mitai’s that need Dame Da Ne’ed, I’ve got racing that needs pocketing, and I’ve got businesses to run that a 40 year old with his greatest learning achievement being ‘Dragon Warriors’ should have no right to be running successfully to push up to the #1 spot.
I also grabbed ‘Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin’ too. Played a tiny chunk of that… I may or may not play a chunk more. I grew one thing of rice, the game said I did okay with it. But what do you mean too spread out? You give me awkward backwards tank controls, no feedback on spacing or what to expect and like 50 seeds to put in a spot that looks like it could hold 5000–and I’m supposed to what? Stack them all on each other?! And when was the water too shallow? IT WAS RAINING! Water can’t be shallow in the rain!

… So yeah… I think I’ll wait to see how others grow rice. It’s pretty fun otherwise.

I can tell you one other thing that little sociopath Kyle did, he keeps sending his dog off as bait into dangerous territory out side Blood Hoof village conning countless hobos and drifters into finding his dog only to be attacked or murdered by wild animals and Quillboar.

Don’t be like Kyle, Kyle is a Serial Killer.

I finished Chromie Time on my Paladin, figured I should farm out a full set of gear in Ice Crown, killed Nathanos and went from an Item Level 50 Hierloom to a Heroic Item Level 115 Mace, not going to lie that’s probably the biggest upgrade I ever had and I’ve been playing WoW since 2005.

Once I get done gearing up by farming for Scourge Stones I plan on going back to Legion to finish it including all the group related stuff now that it’s considered Legacy content for people at level 50.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, tiny bit of ESO, Rift, SWTOR and WoW and by tiny I mean I log in, mostly to collect daily rewards and may go do a quest or 2 and then log off to go play AC Valhalla. I’m really afraid I won’t be finished AC by the time Cyberpunk launches, ah, first world problems.

I am playing FO76 this weekend. I found a great spot for my camp for the next month or so. I am still so low level in that game. I have to focus on main quests and ops this weekend to get some levels. Im also making turkey day dinner today, because why not when turkeys are .43 a lb.

Egg nog is my go to for this time of year.

Mainly Destiny 2 Beyond Light right now. Haven’t quite finished the story yet as I’m not rushing.

Might jump into Genshin Impact to check out the new patch. Still can’t quite get into the game due to the heavy gacha garbage.

Plugging away at Horizon Zero Dawn. Found out what Project Zero Dawn is/was and hoo boy. I was expecting a good deal of it, but the last bits I didn’t quite get were juicy. Now I have to stop an Eclipse invasion of the Nora lands.

Bonus question: What’s your favorite seasonal treat, either from the holiday season or elsewhere?

Pumpkin pie with vanilla ice cream. It isn’t the fall/winter season until I have that.

That’s about it for me this time around. Have a great weekend, everyone.

Still writing for NaNoWriMo, hopefully i cross 23k words today, as for games i downloaded Blade & Soul which took me an hour to fix, the game didn’t want to download files into the correct SSD, i want to create a character and play a little, but later i want to level up and explore the world … for screenshots.

Bonus: chocolate coconut truffles, we used to make them but i haven’t tasted them for many years, i should correct this, they are easy to make and very dangerous, it’s easy to keep going “one more” on them and finish the whole thing in minutes.

This week: After my “Pinch myself, I have to be dreaming!” excitement week, I now have to hunker down and give the big clean out to my dwelling. I know this, because when the accumulating dust bunnies are becoming bigger than the pigtail…

“Err…folks don’t really need to know about that, Uta.”

..oh, right! I’ll just say the place is in needing a good clean and fixing up. >.<

Also this week: Playing moar WoW until the expansions arrives.

Bonus Answer: Of many things made of cake, pie and chocolate…one particularly stands out. That is, my cousin always sends me a monster Toblerone bars around this time of year. And at oft 2/3rds the size of a Gnome, they take a fairly along time consume, despite the eyes wanting to consume them in two sittings. Self-discipline is the key here… o.O

So have a great week and weekend folks! And please stay safe! :)

Choc quiz: White, dark or milk chocolate Toblerone?

I am partial to dark chocolate personally if given the choice but honestly put any Tolberone in front of me and it’s will disappear eventually.

Reader
Bryan Correll

I personally prefer milk chocolate, but enjoy the occasional dark chocolate. White chocolate is an abomination.

Reader
Utakata

Milk then white. While I can consume dark, it tends to make the pigtails all wiggy in large quantities. So in small doses I can handle, but it’s the least my favorite in the choices. I hope that’s clear. :)
