World of Warcraft Classic is certainly feeling the pinch of Shadowlands attention deficit disorder, so the opening of Naxxramas in early December can’t come soon enough. For those who want to be raiding this floating death fortress on Day One, Blizzard has unlocked the ability to go through the attunement process.

“We have updated WoW Classic to make the NPC Archmage Angela Dosantos available at Light’s Hope Chapel,” the studio explained. “Now, if you wish to complete your attunement to Naxxramas in advance of the raid going live on December 3, you can visit the Archmage and take care of it.”

Not to be outdone by preparatory patches, World of Warcraft proper is readying Patch 9.0.2 with a few adjustments for next week’s expansion. This includes nerfing some “disproportionately powerful” pieces of gear, including the Heart of Azeroth’s secondary stats and a whole lot of trinkets. Patch 9.0.2 will be the Shadowlands content release with the new zones, covenants, soulbinds, and levels.
