Mortal Online 2 celebrates its arrival to beta with an attempt to break a world record

Today will mark the transition of Mortal Online 2 from alpha to beta and the game is doing it in the biggest possible way: by going for a world record for the most players logged in to a single uninstanced server.

The attempt, and the beta itself, will begin at 3:00 p.m. EST, and while the sign-up period for joining in this attempt has since closed, those who are interested in how things will shake out are invited to watch the attempt on Twitch.

Considering that the game is entering beta (and is likely seeing a lot of fresh faces), there’s possibly some confusion among new arrivals to Mortal Online 2 as to what’s possible. Luckily, there’s a whole help section to get players acclimated to life in the sandbox.
