New World of Warcraft trailers drop for WoW Classic’s Naxxramas and Shadowlands

Today is a momentous day for WoW Classic, as Blizzard is triggering the ultimate patch for the vanilla-era edition of the game. That’s right, it’s time to head into Naxxramas and raid to your heart’s content (granted that you’re properly geared and don’t have a fear of spiders and dead things).

Blizzard accidentally released the trailer for Shadow of the Necropolis a little early and then pulled it, but the folks at Wowhead grabbed it for those who are interested.

And speaking of trailers, World of Warcraft has a new one out called #SoundTheHorn. This one is a clarion call to gather one and all back for the recently released Shadowlands. It’s a fun game of “spot the celebrities,” including The Last Kingdom’s Alexander Dreymon, Community’s Danny Pudi, and Game of Thrones’ Kristian Nairn. Check it:

I wonder if Udred the son of Udred really plays? Rhonda Rousey plays as well. I heard at one point Dave Chapelle played or maybe that was just a Urban myth.

Danny Pudi is from The Community tv show, which had quite the cult following.

That started in 2009.

Game of thrones first aired in 2011 and was immensely popular amongst all groups of people.

Not everything above was from the recent past

Most are more publicly relevant from the 2010s, but some from the 2000s. Few became popular in media in the last few years. Christopher Mintz-Plasse for example started films in the late 2000s. 90s stars are old news when they don’t keep themselves relevant, yes.
