It’s almost time to reach for new heights in Phantasy Star Online 2. The game started running its campaign for the road to episode 6 late last month, but that road is nearly over as the game reaches its destination on December 9th. Yes, that’s when the patch arrives, bringing in all sorts of new things for players to tackle complete with new story quests to continue the narrative established with previous updates.
Fortunately, even if you haven’t been taking part in the various catch-up campaigns, you’ll still get access to a new shot of power via the addition of two new Scion classes, the Phantom and the Etoile. There are also new summoner pets, new collections of items, new quests, and basically everything you could ask for from a big update to PSO2. Check out the gallery just below, get up to date on the catch-up campaigns if you can, and get ready for the episode launching in just under a week.
