It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Not just the start of the holiday season, but the start of yet another free play promotion for Elder Scrolls Online. The standard edition of the MMORPG, anyway.
From now until Wednesday, December 9th, at 10:00 a.m. EST, players can hop in to MMO Tamriel on PC, Mac, Stadia, and console without any credit card details required. This free-to-play event includes four classes and 24 zones including Morrowind, so it’s a bit different than October’s more robust trial. For anyone who has participated in previous free-to-play promotions, you’ll be able to pick right up where you left off, and if you happen to be new, you’ll be getting a 500 Crown stipend.
For those who enjoy what they see as they traipse through ESO, they can buy in at a 60% discount for the standard edition and continue their adventures after the free trial ends. This sale will end on different days depending on platform, so those who want to know more would do well to check the website for details.
Enjoy action and adventure at the Nursing Home with ESO, witness how slow and limited these servers can get during activities day!
Lol, that pic is an excellent pun of the game’s name, i.e. an Elder Scrolling while Online.
The game barely works as it is…
Yet lots of people are having no problems… But yeah, game stability has been a sticking point recently.
They literally just tweeted asking people to avoid like 7 dungeons during the dungeon event because they keep crashing.
