Mad World drops a new gameplay video, doesn’t appear to be launching this year

So, Mad World. Hi. What the heck is going on with you? We’ve been watching this Jandisoft game for literally years now: It’s the isometric, grimdark MMO that was supposed to launch on Steam in 2018, then planned an alpha in 2019, then announced another delay following a publishing deal with Netmarble. This past summer, the team said it was “doing [its] best” to make a 2020 launch, but it seems clear that’s not happening either. And so here we are.

Last night, however, Jandisoft did drop a new “WIP” video showing gameplay and combat with absolute trucktons of people on the screen. It’s not going to surprise anyone who’s already been watching the game, nor does it include anything like a release timeline, but at least there’s some progress.
