Fixed.

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind of a patch for Path of Exile, or at least it feels that way for players, as the expansion that was meant to hit in December was only just announced a week ago and is already upon us today.

Echoes of the Atlas is slated to launch later today at 2 p.m. EST, though servers have been down since 11 a.m. for patching – something you should tackle sooner rather than later as you’re looking at a 13GB update. Console players, settle in for your wait while the PC players test it for ya; your launch isn’t until January 20th.

As promised, the expansion includes the new Ritual challenge league, ascendancy class revamps, new Maven pinnacle boss, new passive skill trees, 11 new maps, and gobs more. Our own Wandering Wraeclast column has detailed everything you can expect – perfect reading while you patch up! We’re also aiming to stream the game around 3 p.m. EST if the servers can handle it, so join us then on OPTV.
