Multiplayer extreme sports racer Riders Republic sees its release delayed to later this year

Back in September, we cast our eyes on Riders Republic, a multiplayer open world racing title that offered up a variety of extreme sports racing activities on bikes, snowboards, wingsuits, and skis with up to 50 players. The initial plan for the game was to release sometime in February of this year, but it looks like those plans have changed.

“We have made the decision to move our release to later this year,” reads the Twitter image announcement. “This additional time will allow our passionate team to deliver the best fun fueled experience to our players.”

Naturally, “later this year” could mean anything, but an official response to one of the replies offers word that more details will be shared soonâ„¢. So while it’s an unfortunate delay for those eager to hop in to what looks like Forza Horizon: X Games Edition, it will hopefully mean good things in the end.
