Black Desert’s PC, console, and mobile editions get a raft of Nova changes and winter events

It’s Wednesday, so you know what that means! I mean, yes, it’s New President day in the US. But it’s also Black Desert blitz day. Here’s what Pearl Abyss’ multi-platform MMORPG is up to this week.

In Black Desert Mobile, players can expect the addition of the Hadum Boss Rush event, tweaks to the Black Sun schedule, and balance updates for pretty much every class with special emphasis on the still-got-that-new-car-smell Nova, plus a nerf to PvP melee damage across the board.

Console players will see boosted mount speed while sprinting, the addition of core skills to all class awakenings, a ton of Nova updates, improved loot in some Mediah regions, and gobs more quality-of-life touches.

Finally, Black Desert PC fans will log into the game tomorrow and see what I did when I woke up this morning: snow! The snowflake collection event is set to begin on January 21st, plus there’s another level-up event for the Nova, new awakening weapon crafting quests, new goodies for the winter season servers, a handful of class and item balancing tweaks, and mouse adjustments.
