It’s time to celebrate more than a decade in Star Trek Online very soon, as the game is starting its anniversary event on January 26th. The prize for taking part? A new Tier 6 ship that is once more the product of allied engineering, this time combining Romulan and Klingon engineering to produce the Temer-class raider that promises cloaking, high speed, heavy firepower, and a cool profile that makes everyone look at how neat your ship is.

Players who wish to earn the Temer-class will be given a variety of different options for earning daily progress, ranging from the classic Omega particle stabilization event to special patrols and TFOs providing daily progress. Up to two progress can be earned per day, with 40 total progress needed to earn the raider and 30 days with which to earn all of it.

But wait, there’s more! Apparently PWE is also granting the ability to play a Discovery-era Klingon character.

“We’re proud to announce that, beginning with our anniversary update, you will be able to play a Discovery Era Klingon in Star Trek Online. This type of Klingon will be a new race option upon creating a KDF character, and will come with a brand new outfit exclusive to this race. What will this timelost Warrior think of 2411? That is up to you to decide, as you become a new type of Klingon. tlhIngan maH taHjaj!”

If you’re ready to take the helm of the new ship and Disco Klingons, get ready for the event starting next week and running until February 25th on PC.
