Multiplayer survival RPG Frozen Flame updates enemies, shares some music, and offers a demo on Steam

It’s been a little while since we looked in on Frozen Flame, and lo and behold, there’s been a couple of notable things going on with the in-development multiplayer survival RPG. One of the first major updates is… well, an update, which has tweaked the attack behavior of the Cursed to make them “more menacing and tactical opponents,” made some unspecified “major changes” to the Bastion location, and introduced a brand-new soundtrack that changes based on location, time of day, and whether or not players are in combat.

The other noteworthy bit of Frozen Flame news is that the game is part of Steam’s current Game Festival, meaning the title is offering up a free demo for players to download and try out ahead of the game’s planned arrival to Steam sometime in the spring of this year.

Just what is Frozen Flame? It’s a multiplayer survival title where players enter a world that’s continually on the brink of a cataclysm. The game was successfully crowdfunded last year and has been in closed beta since September 2020.
