Resistance weaponry, Valentione’s day, Skysteel tools, Blue Mage updates… there’s a lot going on in Final Fantasy XIV at the moment, and even if you’re not a subscriber, you might be curious about it. Fortunately, you can indulge that curiosity if you’re a former subscriber with the game’s latest free login campaign, which gives lapsed subscribers four free days within the game to explore and play without any charge. The campaign starts today and runs through March 31st, offering plenty of time to find the best stretch of time for playing once more.
As with prior campaigns, players whose subscriptions have been inactive for at least 30 days are eligible to take part. Once the player in question first logs in, the countdown timer starts, with 96 total hours of free play available starting from that first login. If you’ve been away from the game for a bit and want to take a look at what’s changed so far, it’s well worth checking out.Source: Official Site

Great game, but four free days are simply not enough. Four free weeks, yeah I would download and have a look at what’s new. :)
They know what they’re doing. Giving you a little bump so you buy the whole bag.
Maybe, but four days is not long enough for me to see if what is in the bag is now worth it to me. :)
It will take me 4 days just to register with their amazing account management
I’m ashamed to admit that it took me an hour to figure out how to redownload the non-free trial of the game.
No need to be ashamed. I tried so many times until I read a post on Reddit saying that my old trial account (when it was for 14 days) can’t participate in new trial account. Apparently it’s too difficult to turn every trial account into an updated trial account. I had to make a new account with email I don’t use and PINs and passwords I don’t really remember. Their whole account management website is from some kind of 2005’s nightmare and I’d rather deal with my bank account website
Agreed 4 days is not enough for me to re-install. What would be fair though? Any longer and the subscribers might get pissed off…
