It’s important to try to be as prepared as possible when entering a public hunt in Dauntless, but apparently there have been enough players entering these hunts without appropriate gear and enough demand from players to necessitate the introduction of hard gear level requirements. So that’s just what the devs at Phoenix Labs are doing.
This feature was recently added to the game’s shiny new roadmap in the production section and is reportedly set to go live in the future according to the game’s Twitter. This will basically do what it says on the tin: enforce a minimum level requirement for public hunts like Hunting Grounds. Private hunts will not be affected by this feature.
