Not surprisingly, there are hordes of Massively OP readers crawling over every square inch of the recently launched New World, often with their cameras in tow. Imagine super old-timey cameras or lithographs or something like that, if it helps with your immersion.
R00ch kicks us off with this picture of his character going blind from gazing upon the majesty of either a sunset or nuclear blast: “This view stopped me in my tracks. Almost made me forget about the eldritch corruption infesting Aeternum.”
RimaHadley is getting into the spirit of the dark holidays: “As it’s Halloween Month, it seemed appropriate to dress my Final Fantasy XIV character up as a werewolf, complete with a moonlit photoshoot and her lunar hound, Fenrir.”
Speaking of Halloween, Zulika Mi-Nam found a perfect place for an October 31st shindig in New World. It’s most likely, probably, definitely not haunted. No sirree. No ghosts here, just us slavering ghouls and eldritch horrors.
And over in Dungeons and Dragons Online, Minimalistway is winning the REAL game of any MMO, which is (of course) fashion. “I started with rags, and now this Paladin looks respectful, so it’s time to go kill some rats!”
“Last night in New World was my first night,” Fisty recounted. “The company I was in claimed the first Marauder piece of land on the server. Now all three had equal holdings. We raised 50k in 20 minutes once all of the green faction combined their money and were able to claim and defend for the next hour or so. Was mad fun seeing hundreds attack/defend the fort.”
After you’re done napping like a cat in a sunbeam, stretch out those screenshot-jabbing fingers and get to work hunting down the best and most interesting views from your MMOs!
