Fallout 76 gets players in on the trick-or-treat action

Halloween in the wasteland is set to arrive next week, as Fallout 76 activates its spoopy activities on October 19th through November 2nd.

During the event, players can take down Scorched who — for some reason — have taken a break from murder sprees to put on costumes and collect candy. These special mobs drop buff-happy candy, ammo, and Halloween-themed loot.

Additionally, Bethesda is giving all players a free “spooky candy bowl” to put in their C.A.M.P.s so that other players can trick-or-treat. There are several daily and weekly challenges tied into this, which in turn spit out more Halloween goodies.

Fallout 76 is also planning a “Bombs Drop Day” on October 23rd with sales and unspecified weekend events.
