It’s maybe not the biggest update that the multiplayer ARPG Minecraft Dungeons is going to ever see, but it is an update all the same, and it’s bringing regular updates to the game – namely, seasonal updates in the appropriately named Seasonal Adventures patch.

Seasons will run with different themes and bring weekly challenges for players to clear, earning levels in a battle pass to unlock pets, flairs, emotes, and skins. The first season, Cloudy Climb, is due to arrive in December. As for the battle pass, there will be a free tier and a premium tier, but pricing for the premium pass hasn’t been announced.

In addition to the seasonal content scheme, Dungeons is also opening a challenge tower, offering 30 levels’ worth of adversaries that players can face for battle pass advancement as well as bragging rights, as the tower is described as the game’s “ultimate challenge.”

In the meantime, the multiplayer RPG is marking the Halloween season with the return of the Spookier Fall event, offering up the chance to earn thematic and unique cosmetics between now and Tuesday, November 2nd.
