Those who prefer to get their Black Desert fix on consoles might be looking over at the updates arriving to PC players with a bit of jealousy or a question on when those features will arrive on their chosen platform. That topic was touched on in both an update post as well as a video with executive producer Jae-hee Kim.

The update post talks about the arrival of features like Season+ graduation, the character growth-minded Progression Pass, and an alternate road to getting PEN V gear with the help of the Old Moon Guild, much like the PC version has enjoyed to this point. The console version is also set to receive the Mediah region’s conquest war features in next week’s update, while the guild raid boss Khan is set to arrive soon. As for the Vell fight that players have been anticipating, the conversion of Vell from a world boss to a guild boss is taking more time than expected, but it is due to arrive after Khan.

As for the video, Kim talks up upcoming class reboots arriving through the month of October paired with closer previews of the rebooted Valkyrie and Dark Knight, outlines improvements to things like tent installation and ancient relic crystal shard mechanics, and discusses several player feedback points. The full video can be found below, just make sure to turn on closed captioning for English subtitles.
