The Elder Scrolls Online teases the stories waiting in this week’s Deadlands DLC launch

As one might expect out of a new area in Elder Scrolls Online, there’s going to be plenty of quests and narratives weaving around the place, and that is most definitely true of the Deadlands zone. Those stories were talked about in the latest content preview featuring lead writer Bill Slavicsek and loremaster Leamon Tuttle.

As one might expect, specifics about stories are a bit thin (they don’t want to spoil things obviously), but the post does provide a few interesting story-based treats for players to look forward to, including the region’s penchant for eternal war, a settlement where mortals and Daedra try to find common ground and live in peace, and the cosmopolitan mixture of personalities found in the city of Fargrave, which is made possible by an arcane set of rules and governing principles known as the Stricture. These stories and more can be experienced once the Deadlands DLC goes live, but until then, this one’s for the lore hounds.
