Let’s be honest here, “free” is a pretty great entry point for pretty much anything in the MMO sphere. The next part of Guild Wars 2’s Icebrood Saga is no exception, and this week you can log into the game to get a free unlock of the “Shadow in the Ice” installment for your account. This might be a little odd if you missed last week’s unlock, but hey, don’t you want to explore the Bjora Marches? Of course you do; our own Colin liked it back when it first released.
Players who already owned this installment of the story or have it newly unlocked can also take part in clearing new achievements this week as part of the ongoing revisitation event taking place within the game, so there’s added incentive to clear the chapter this week or take a spin back through it. It’s a cool time. See, because there’s ice. The pun is… oh, never mind, you got it.
