DC Universe Online makes ally purchases account-wide, updates early endgame scaling and buffs

There’s been a patching applied to DC Universe Online, and while it’s a bit thin in terms of content, it does have a number of important adjustments to note. First off, those who purchased allies from the in-game cash shop can now use those allies across their entire account, not just individual characters. Consequently, players who purchased a single ally for one character before the change can now use that ally on all characters, while players who individually purchased the same ally for every character in their account will get refunded in either Daybreak Cash or Marketplace Cash.

The update has also made some tweaks to early endgame scaling, with a new stat ceiling for all tiers so that downscaled players have a combat rating that is 15 higher than enemy NPCs and a greater buff benefit for players who are being scaled down in omnibus content. Players who are scaled up for On Duty missions are seeing new benefits too, like a damage buff in two player, four player, and eight player content, and the ability to block to heal if below 50% health.

The patch has further improved UI elements, adjusted the support ability of the Oracle’s Bot ally, and added a new drop in Amazon Fury III. The patch notes have all the details.
