Blade and Soul players can face some new story or a new dungeon and its challenging layers of increasing difficulty thanks to the Demonsbane update that went live as of yesterday, bringing with it those features and more.

The titular feature is the Demonsbane system, which lets players climb ranks in the new Aerodrome dungeon, ramping up both the difficulty and the rewards for the encounter in the process. Another marquee feature is the second part of Act XI’s epic story quest, which sees players facing off against Mushin himself.

In addition to that, the Demonsbane update has brought on new accessories and an upgrade system for mythical accessories, introduced a new Soul tier, shifted several dungeon rewards, and added four different types of stat boosting insignias that drop in the new Aerodrome dungeon. The patch has also kicked off a login reward event that runs until December 8th and has made the Ancient Stone Splendor Upgrade event a permanent fixture. There’s plenty of things going on in this patch as well as lots of tables of rewards and upgrade tier information for players to look over.
