Make My MMO: Crowfall’s freemium update, Star Citizen’s 3.15 alpha

Star Citizen’s 3.15 alpha went live this week, news that was a bit overshadowed by the fact that studio Cloud Imperium also announced plans to relocate to Manchester and significantly expand its workforce. The alpha update overhauls the game’s death, healing, and corpse mechanics and has been met with both cheers and jeers so far.

Meanwhile, Camelot Unchained studio CSE released Final Stand Ragnarok into early access, Lord British appeared on a Shroud of the Avatar stream for the first time in ages, Ship of Heroes planned a December beta, Book of Travels turned off permadeath, and Crowfall rolled out its 7.300 “freemium” update.
