New World re-enables wealth transfers, again, as players report new dupes, again

It tracks.

Late last night, the New World servers returned from maintenance with a small patch that finally lets the money flow again.

“Wealth transfers will be re-enabled, with the exception of housing decoration items, which are marked non-tradeable temporarily,” Amazon wrote, and “‘Immobilised’ players will now respawn properly. […] For companies whose settlements were downgraded due to wealth transfers being disabled, you can expect compensation with our upcoming November Monthly release.”

Amazon has further explained the housing decoration item exception.

“Players will be able to:
• Salvage housing decorations
• Put housing decorations in storage by picking up the furniture after its placed
• Purchase housing decorations from an existing Trading Post contract

“Players will not be able to:
• Place buy orders for housing decorations on the trading post
• Trade housing decorations with another player
• Place housing decorations directly into the storage
• Drop housing decorations on the floor
• Enter build mode for housing

“Please be mindful of creating or buying housing items so you do not become over-encumbered.”

Overnight, however, players sounded the alarm on what looks like yet another new dupe (or possibly two) involving canceled trades and crafting. So, you know, just another day in New World.
