Gifts?

For some people, the advent of the holiday season means that you’ll have more time to do whatever you want. You’ll have some vacation time off from work, possibly including days that you take for yourself. There are the holidays themselves. There’s plenty of opportunity to kick back, relax, and spend some time in your MMO of choice.

Of course, for others that time off is being used to frantically buy gifts for children, attend holiday parties, travel to meet friends and family, and so forth. It’s entirely possible that even with less time spent working you wind up having more time taken by other obligations, meaning that you wind up with less overall time to play MMOs even when some of them have important updates happening.

So which one is it for you? Do the holidays mean more or less time for MMOs for you? Or does it not really affect your time much either way?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
