The Daily Grind: Which MMO offers the best console or mobile experience?

Every year when this Daily Grind comes ’round, I have to admit I’m not a heavy console user. I’m a PC girl, and I will always be a PC girl. Oh sure, the Switch is a fun diversion, and I am thrilled with my new Pixel, but if I have a choice, I want mouse and keyboard for gaming.

However, the market has spoken, and plenty of y’all are playing MMOs – real, serious, AAA MMORPGs – on your consoles now. And more and more westerners are playing on their phones too, and I don’t just mean imports; we had two major western MMORPGs properly launch on mobile this year, RuneScape and Albion Online. I tried the latter on my phone, too; it’s good in a pinch for mucking around on my farm, but I still prefer my desktop.

So for those of you out there who are less PC-driven or more platform-agnostic, help me out:¬†Which MMO offers the best console or mobile experience, the best experience for any MMORPG on a device that isn’t the tried and true PC?
