One Shots: Murder palaces are always so inviting

The Secret World was always good at creating spaces that you take one look at and go, “Nope! Not going to walk in there! Not going to go right into that murder palace under my own volition! There never are any parties in places like this, and if there are, then you really don’t want to eat the cake and open the presents.”

Case in point, Utakata’s visit to this particular haunting locale, which is clearly throwing out a real strong Shining vibe. Roxanne, please put out that red light, it’s freaking us all out.

What’s the weather in Destiny 2 these days? Apparently there’s a slight summer thunderstorm accompanied by a low pressure front and a giant sky fortress. But it’ll dissipate by noon, leaving everyone to enjoy the beach for the weekend.

Redbook took this snap of Savathûn’s ship in the game’s The Witch Queen update. Please note that doomsday ships are closer than they appear.

Meanwhile, Hirku Two and his trusty mount are clip-clopping their way through the charming moonlight glades of Villagers and Heroes. I guess the moon could be an orbital laser platform or something, but this actually might just be a peaceful moment.

“Sightseeing and selfies: Lost Ark delivers!” Toy Clown shared. I don’t know how much shampoo, conditioner, and teasing it took to make that horse’s mane look that luxurious, but it probably is someone’s full-time job.

And I wanted to share with you this fun pic I took in LOTRO’s Fate of Gundabad expansion this week. I always find it challenging to get a good shot of an enemy mob in action, and I liked how cheesed-off this orc looked. I probably would be too if I had a metal loincloth.

That’s it for your One Shots entertainment this week! Keep the party going in the comments with your own MMO screenshots and stories, eh?

Every week, One Shots shines a spotlight on the best community screenshots from your MMO adventures. If you have a great pic to share, email it to justin@massivelyop.com with the subject “One Shots.” Make sure that the picture is over 880px wide and comes with a description or story!
